Training for the Unemployed
Robust Training is working in conjunction with other organisations and employers, to deliver jobs to people who have been without work for varying lengths of time. We therefore link our training to employment sectors we know have current demand. This is to ensure that we can guarantee an interview to anyone who completes one of our vocational courses. We conduct basic skills assessments with all starters and then tailor courses to match people's abilities.
At Robust Training we do not "abandon" people when they have finished their course but look to add value through work experience opportunities and supported work trials. As a train to Gain provider we will also offer work based training to all people who find work and who fit the LSC's criteria.
